A former architectural flooring showroom, the exiting space was gutted and re-purposed to house the new boutique retailer Biggercode New York. The original space was dramatically lit on a backdrop of dark finishes. The client’s primary request was that their space reflect an art gallery, with white walls and plenty of light. To accent the white palette, we paired it with touches of satin brass, marble and concrete. Custom designed, LED lit, brass clothing racks line the main wall. Linear light fixtures hang horizontally or vertically through the railroaded space as it guides you towards the back lounge area. The original sky light in the lounge area was converted into a light box to replicate a continuous stream of daylight.
